Arranging interviews and all that...

Hello and thank you for returning yet again for more talk about work. So what can I tickle your tastebuds with this week?

I've been busy arranging interviews for the next volume of our audio magazine, Red Business, so here's a bit more about the type of people/companies you will hear from...

You'll get an insiders view of Pimlico Plumbers; a London based plumbing business set up by one man and a van, who are now unblocking drains for the likes of Eric Clapton and Gordon Ramsay. You'll hear from their founder and MD Charlie Mullins as well as a number of senior plumbers and other members of the management team.

We've also confirmed an interview with Christina Domecq, CEO and co-founder of Spinvox, a company that uses technology to capture the spoken word and convert it to text. She's also connected with the famous Domecq family of sherry makers and won Ernst and Young UK Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006.

And last but not least we'll be travelling to Dublin to interview successful Irish businessman Feargal Quinn. Feargal started with a small shop in 1960 and developed it into a successful supermarket chain over the next forty years, focusing mainly on quality food and great customer service. His family sold their interest in Superquinn in 2005, but Feargal has continued to be involved in the board of several food and commerce institutes.

So there's already plenty to look forward to and we'll keep you updated on any other interviews scheduled for 2008.

And that's all folks!
