What’s in a name?

Well this week I have been mostly trying to arrange features for the new volume of our business audio magazine – Red Business.

It will be the fifth volume of Red Business, and we are deliberating whether we should change the name.

I’m really not sure… how much does a name matter in business/life?

I like Seth Godin’s take on the subject – a name is important but doesn’t replace an amazing product.

I like to think that Red Business is the best business audio magazine that’s available. Actually as far as I know Red Business is the only business audio magazine that’s available… but that’s not the point.

So perhaps I should care more about the renaming, but my main concern is making our business magazine the best that it can be, by putting lots of effort into producing the best and most interesting business features.

We are getting some really good interviews lined up for our next volume – whatever we decide to call it! For now it’s still called Red Business and, if you’re interested, you can find out a bit more about it here
