The Manager's Guide to the Galaxy
As the title suggests, this is a tongue-in-cheek collation of the knowledge and experiences of the galaxy's managers.
At the turn of the millennium, on a small greenish-blue planet known as earth, a journalist came up with the bright idea of collecting all the knowledge and experience of the galaxy's managers into a single handy reference guide.
Two days later the job was done and The Manager's Guide to the Galaxy was born.
This vital reference has sold more copies than the 'Interplanetary Encyclopaedia of Knitwear', made more profit for its authors than the Bible and the editors have slept with more groupies than the editors of the 'Galactic Guide to Genital Disease.'
In summary, The Manager's Guide to the Galaxy is to managers what the English dictionary is to management consultants – they completely ignore what's in the book and just make it up as they go along.
