A sports graduate from Bedford College, Gary worked within the pharmaceutical industry for 10 years in a number of roles within Sales, Training and Development and Sales Management.
For the last 7 years he has been a co-director of Sales Interaction Limited, an international sales training and management consultancy. Gary specialises in applying research and analysis methods to the field of pharmaceutical sales and management and has achieved significant increases in sales performance consistently with the customers he has worked with.
He presents at a wide variety of national and international conferences and conventions and he is co-author of the book Sold! How to make it easy for people to buy from you, written with business partner Steve Martin, first published in August 2003 by Prentice Hall / Pearson Education. Sold! has since been translated into eight languages and been recorded onto audio CD.
